David Horowitz
David Horowitz is a nationally known author and lifelong civil rights activist. A founder of the New Left in the 1960s and editor of its largest magazine, Ramparts, he became profoundly disillusioned with the radical movement. In the 1980s he began a second career as a conservative intellectual. He is the author of the an acclaimed autobiography, Radical Son and since 1988 has been president of the Center for the Study of Popular Culture.
